Topic: Imagine Flagstaff without cars
Eligible entrants: Coconino County residents 9 through 18 years old
Deadline: Entries must be submitted by no later than 11:59 p.m., September 1, 2011.

Contest rules:

  • Written in English
  • Formatted in Microsoft Word
  • Maximum 500 words

  • Include name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and age on the day that the entry is mailed.

Art Contest

Contest Rules:

  • Two-dimensional works, up to 11” X 17”
  • Any media acceptable
  • Submit entries in person to Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library

Flagstaff, Arizona
  • On a separate sheet of paper attached to the artwork (secured by a paper clip) include name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and age on the day that the entry is submitted.

General Contest Information

1st-place, 2nd-place, and honorable mention will be awarded for each of the categories below:

  • Ages 9 – 11
  • Ages 12 – 14
  • Ages 15 – 18

The top entry from each category will be displayed at Vino Loco on Birch Avenue during the October First Friday ArtWalk and/or published on the F3 Web site.

Entries will be reviewed and the final selections made by a selection committee comprised of 
professional writers and artists. Winners will be notified by September 7, 2011.

Friends of Flagstaff’s Future encourages the winners to be present for the awards ceremony at 5:30 pm, September 22, 2011, at the Green Room.
